Abstract

|
Bladder transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) accompanied with a sarcomatoid differentiation is very rarely developed and is known to have a poor prognosis due to rapid tumor growth rate. We report a case of a sarcomatoid variant bladder TCC that is developed with superficial urothelial bladder cancer in the beginning, but actually progress beyond the muscle layer after sarcomatoid differentiation although mucosal lesion is not identified by cystoscopy at outpatient clinic.
